Anton Auth

 

Anton Auth lives and works in Chicago. His practice incorporates object making, video and research based performance, creating work that focuses on his interests in the poetics of manufacturing and human presence, personal collections, indoor plant provenance, landscape ecology, and the act of seeing/being seen. Auth earned his MFA in 2021 at the University of Chicago, where he is currently a Visual Arts Teaching Fellow. Before that he worked in the performance motorsports industry. Exhibitions include The University of Wisconsin-Madison (2022), Wedge Projects in Chicago (2022) and the Evergreen Museum at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore (2017)
